Cera And Ciru Cope With Drought (Sahara Series 7 Cera 1)
KSh389.00
How did Cera and Ciru cope with drought?
Description
Cera, an old woman despised by the other villagers, lived in Ikwato Village on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Ciru, a young girl, went every day to help Cera with the only thing she had: the strength to draw water, gather firewood, and till the land. Cera rewarded her with food to take to her starving family.
Every effort is rewarded.
During the dry season, other villagers lacked water, but Cera and Ciru had stored enough water in water pots, gourds, and an underground tank they had constructed. It pays to be prepared at all times. Cera prayed for rain and was convinced her prayers would be answered soon. Just before they exhausted the water, Cera and Ciru accidentally discovered water under a huge rock. The rock had rolled, ready to crash into Ciru, but came to a stop. Water sprang from where it rested. Prayers are answered in the least expected ways.
