There comes a time in one’s life when important decisions must be made, that moment when one is at a crossroads. The decision has to be made because it is at that time. Wai found herself in such a situation. Wai knew that she had to decide on the spiritual path that she would follow from that moment on. She had to choose between the path of knowledge, the path of devotion, the path of work, or the path of contemplation and meditation.

Each path had to be a spiritual practice, and that would liberate her life from the world of torment and turmoil and quench the thirst in her spirit, taking her closer to His Omnipresence. Wai travels to Nanyuki on the slopes of Mount Kenya, where she transitions into the spiritual realm. Wai’s God fulfils her prayer requests and rewards her with Kai, the man she had long cherished. However, Wai is taken on a journey in the spirit by Kai, and by the end, she is ready to make the decision. It is a difficult decision to make. Wai chose the path of knowledge; this would take her closer to His Omnipresence.
