Description
Kiboko was the bull in the hippo herd that lived around Lake Naivasha in the great Kenya Rift valley. Kiboko ruled his herd of fifteen female hippos by delegating most of his responsibilities to Maboko, his senior wife. Kiboko’s word was authority to be obeyed. When Kiboko became angry, the grounds around Lake Naivasha shook. It was only Lake Naivasha’s water that cooled his temper, the grounds around Lake Naivasha shook.
