Description

After it rained heavily around Lake Naivasha, Maboko the female hippo had to escape the raging waters that were quickly rising. Maboko was separated from the other members of her herd. Maboko walked to the top of Mt. Longonot. She arrived exhausted and thirsty. Maboko walked around the mouth of the crater looking for water without success. Maboko fell asleep, too exhausted and thirsty to walk any further.
