Description

The Mwangi and Omosh (the City Twins) book is about two young men from two communities. They met as the children of two single women living in Nairobi’s Eastlands. Mwangi was brought up in the Bahati Estate, while Omosh was brought up in the Jericho Estate. Their mothers were great friends. Mwangi’s mother passed away next, then Omosh’s mother. Mwangi did not have anywhere to live and moved in with Omosh. Soon after, Omosh’s girlfriend, Akinyi, moved in.

Omosh agreed to marry her on the condition that she would return to school once the unborn child was four years old. Mwangi did not have anywhere to live. In desperation, he went to live with his ex-girlfriend Kanini, who already had a child with another man who had moved back to China. Mwangi understands that to bring up a child, he does not have to be his biological father, since every child deserves to grow up with a father. Mwangi vowed to take care of Kanini and her child. Will he live by those vows?
