Description

In this novel, you will find the story of Mzee. One day, Mzee, a retiree, travels from the village of Ikwato to Nairobi city to sort out issues concerning his pension. Mzee decided to visit his friend Kungu at Dandora Estate in Nairobi. Mzee finds that his girlfriend of earlier days, Truphena, has moved in with Kirucha, another old man. Feeling betrayed, Mzee travels back to City Centre. He experienced real Nairobi street life that evening.

Meanwhile, Mwangi, a young man, has found out that his girlfriend, Kanini has betrayed him. In desperation, he travels to the City Centre, where he comes across Mzee. For whatever reason, Mwangi decides Mzee is his long-lost father. He follows Mzee to Dandora only to discover that Mzee is not his biological father. However, Mzee’s friend Kungu is Mwangi’s birth father.
