Chameleon is Hare’s friend. They lived in the Jungle Kingdom together. Every evening, the two attended the village dance. Hare was the favourite of all the females. Chameleon thought he was not a favourite because his skin looked dirty. That depressed him. Chameleon visited the village witch doctor to seek help. He was asked to take fur to the witch doctor. He tried to get fur from the hair, but an ant stole it. When Chameleon delivered the fur to the witch doctor, it was too dirty. The witch doctor sent him away. Since that day, Chameleon has had no fur.
