Budgeting For Teens
KSh250.00
Description
Kofi was always broke three days after payday. Again. Mia spends her entire allowance on pickles before lunch. Lin had money but never enjoyed it. Budgeting sounded boring, like homework and like eating vegetables.
But when the three friends decided to build a real budget together, they discovered it was actually a game. A game where you tell your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.
They tried envelopes, spreadsheets, the “50-30-20 rule,” and a crazy challenge called “No-Spend Week.” There are fights, failures, and one incident involving a pickle jar and a stolen pizza.
By the end, they learn that budgeting is not about restriction. It is about freedom. The freedom to buy pickles without guilt. Ages 12-15.
